How to Kill Men and Get Away With It (A Novel) By Katy Brent (Review)

Thank you to the publisher for a copy to review.

I loved this. Who knew murder could be so fun? This book was at times laugh out loud funny. I loved the main character. It was great reading her creative ways to remove the bad men of this world. After being followed home one night Kitty accidentally kills a guy, and that's were her addiction started. She starts killing all the men she sees as threatening to her, and her friends.

I didn't want to put this down. The ending surprised me too. I can't say much more without spoiling it, so you're going to have to read this, and find out for yourself.

I'm hoping for more in the future.

The Quiet Tenant by Clemence Michallon (Review)

Thank you to Netgalley, and the publisher for a chance to review this book.

I devoured this! It was amazing, and thrilling. Definitely a page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I love that it has multiple perspectives. One of them being the victim, and the way it's written you feel like you become the character. I felt like I was trapped inside with the character, and going through everything she went through. I highly recommend this to all thriller fans. I think even true crime fans would like this. (I'm one myself).

Pick up this book, and read it. I'm pretty sure you'll like it.

Murder your Employer by Rupert Holmes (Review)

I want to thank netgalley, and the publisher for letting me review this.

This one took me a while to get through, I found myself putting it down a lot, and wanting to focus on other books.

I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It felt incredibly slow, and I didn't feel a connection anywhere. I kept on going though. It was a decent story, but I didn't like that it dragged on for me. I will say the title, and the cover art are amazing. It is very catchy, and very well thought of. I do wish I would of liked it more. If there is a Volume 2. maybe I will give that one a chance.

A Spirited Romance by Annette Miller (review)

Thank you to Booktasters, and the author for a chance to review this book.

I normally don't read romance. I'm normally horror, and thriller. This has some elements of horror, but not the way I typically read them. Although this was more of a romance, I enjoyed the story, and the characters. I enjoyed the authors writing, and it all kept me reading. I'm glad I took the chance to try something new.

The Snowstorm by Triona Walsh ( Review)

I read this to review for Netgalley. Thank you to them, and the publisher for a chance to review this book.

A nice chilly thriller, with a perfect wintery setting. It really kept me guessing. I'm sure I didn't understand everything as there is some Irish language here and there. I think the Irish language is beautiful even though I was sometimes struggling to remember how a name was pronounced. It didn't stop me from finishing.

A book with twists, turns, and murder is always fun in my book.

Burn the Negative by Josh Winning (Review)

Thank you to Netgalley, and the publisher for a chance to review this book.

I really enjoyed this. I love books, and love movies so the two together was really wonderful. Also I love horror, and thrillers. So if you're like me,and love all that too then this is the book for you.

A book about a cursed film, that's also right up my ally. Hearing in real life of how this movie is cursed, or that movie was. I imminently had to read this. If 'The Guesthouse' was real I feel I would of watched it, and been following along with every theory too. This was a fun ride. I also loved the snippets they had of fake blog posts, interviews, book clippings and more. On e-book form I did find it hard to read some of them, I'm not docking points for that though, I still loved it.

Check this book out, I guarantee it will give you a fright.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me reivew this. Another amazing book from Tara Schuster. She puts so much advice onto her books, and does it very well too. I really enjoyed this one.
Read 'Glow in the F*cking Dark' you won't regret it. It has pushed me further to do what I want, and need to do in life. I can't wait to see if she puts a third book out.
